BREAKING NEWS ON FREE RANGE EGGS!!! « Thread Started on Jan 15, 2008, 10:44pm »
From 2012, it will become LAW for all hens (which are used for laying eggs) on the Wirral in England, to be free range hens. The guy who made the decision said that 'Wirral is ahead of the game', but hopes that other counties in the country will follow. Why leave it 'till 2012? To give the farmers of battery and barn hens to make the changes. Personally, I would have preffered it if it were sooner, but it's a start. Other counties in England are sure to follow.
What are the rules for free range in other countries?
